New England Patriot Ty Warren and crew with Massachusetts State Record Mahimahi

Last sumer I captained a trip with New England Patriot Ty Warren to the deep canyons and warm waters south of Martha’s Vineyard, and we caught the giant mahimahi (almost known as dolphin). The fish turned out to be a Massachusetts state record, and Ty and and I got a nice write-up on Boston.com. Can you name these New England Patriots? They fish with Hairball Charters.

May is the start of the season, and I can’t tell you how exciting it is to get out on the water in the crisp spring air and find those big striped bass that have arrived from down south for their big migration to New England waters. The striped bass are big, and they are hungry. This is very exciting fishing, and May books up fast. Sometimes I have a few ball players from the New England Patriots out on the water too.
